Summary of job description: Prepares large quantities of food for patients, residents, employees and visitors using various appliances and following governmental regulations in meal preparation. Prepares individual meals for patients with diet plans. Washes and cleans appliances and cooking areas.Meets schedules. May order, receive and store supplies. Maintains security. The Surgical Tech is responsible for rendering technical skilled care to patients during operative procedures under the direction of the registered Nurse; preparing for surgical procedures; cleaning and turning over instruments, equipment and rooms for surgery; assists in evaluating the patient plan of care within the operating room environment, contributes to overall unit efficiency, safety, workflow, and utilization.

The RN MDS Coordinator shall furnish services in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, and shall be utilized in accordance with basic principles of the professional nurse. All functions shall be performed in accordance with the established policies and practices of Bigfork Valley Communities in which the registered nurse is assigned. The RN MDS Coordinator performs functions which require substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill based upon the principles of psychological, biological and social sciences and must be able to make nursing judgments accordingly.
Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Physician or Radiologist, by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist ADS participants with activities of daily living as directed in individual plan of care.
Attends to all clients’ personal hygiene and personal care needs, including but not limited to grooming, hygiene, bathing, dining and nutritional, mobility, elimination, psychosocial and safety needs.
Documents daily activities of participants.
Promotes and supports the Adult Day Services program in the facility and community.
Maintains confidentiality of records and information relating to participants and their care givers.
Organizes and participates in recreational activities with participants.
Serves meals and refreshments to participants.
Develop bus schedules which meet the needs of ADS participants and community.
Maintains a positive attitude towards clients and staff.
Bigfork Valley Rehab Department is looking for a full time PTA to complement our experienced staff.
The Rehab Dept. is closely integrated with Bigfork Valley Hospital’s multi-service facility which includes a Surgery Center, Specialty Clinic, senior residential housing and long term care. We offer a wide range of rehabilitation programs to enhance the recovery and restoration of patients’ mobility, function and body mechanics, and take a special interest in improving quality of life for our elders in our nursing home.
A qualified licensed PTA will help provide in-patient, out-patient and home care, and critical access services with emphasis on orthopaedic care.
Codes outpatient and inpatient charts including those of all ancillary services using ICD-9-CM and CPT. Maintains efficient flow of technical functions within the Health Information Systems Department. Maintains confidentiality of hospital and patient records. Able to prioritize, manage competing demands and use time efficiently. Has good interpersonal skills.
